Subject: HP Laserjet IIp to '040 [Problem solved]

Hello netters!

I had posted earlier asking for help in connecting a
HP Laserjet IIp to a NeXTStation '040 running 2.1.

The printer cable turned out to be the culprit.
The problem disappeared when I used a cable 
custom-made to the specifications cited in the FAQ
(quoted by people who responded to my posting). The 
printcap entry specified in the FAQ also works fine.

Thanks to all those who responded with suggestions.
Due to the large number of responses, I am not sending
